City of Canyon Commission Meeting - Beginning at 4:30 pm

Knit Night

Every Monday from 4:30-6:00 p.m., Canyon Area Library holds Knit Night! Come learn patterns, get help or just enjoy the company of other knitting enthusiasts. All are welcome to attend. Must provide own supplies.? ? Knit and Be Fit / Crochet Along the Way!? Want to take up knitting or crochet but do not want to sit so much? Learn how to walk while you knit and crochet. Join the Canyon Area Library team and get your steps in while you create caps, scarves, and other projects.? Come to Knit Nights at the Canyon Area Library on Mondays 4:30-6:00 (or make an appointment for another time). Learn how to knit and crochet there. Once you learn basic stitches, practice while walking inside the library building. Once you get the hang of it, walk around the Square, or the WT campus, or the Southeast Park pond and report your steps. Watch your name go up on the Leader board in the library. You get a free yarn carry bag when you begin. ? *must provide own supplies*?

Arachnids & Scorpions Presentation With Dr. Sissom From WTAMU

Join us Tuesday, June 14th for a fun and educational morning with the Dr. Sissom with WTAMU as he talks about and shows us Arachnids & Scorpions at the Cole Community Center 10:30am - 11:30am. We hope to see you there! *subject to change*

Summer StoryTime In The Park!

Bring your blanket and chairs and join us every Wednesday for Summer StoryTime In The Park! Each week we will have volunteers reading to children and families. Snacks will also be provided by High Plains Food Bank, Kids Cafe during this time! - June - Hunsley Park - July - Conner Park *subject to change*

Who Picked This Book? Club will be meeting on June 14th from 1:30pm - 2:30pm to discuss "The Measure" by Nikki Erlick.

Three Sister's Gardening Program with Randall County Master Gardeners

Learn about the traditional Native American and practical planting method using corn, pole beans, and squash. Seeds and instructions for the Three Sister's Planting will be provided. *subject to change*

Fire & Ice

Learn about fires and then get some ice from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 20 in the north parking lot of Canyon Area Library. The program will feature a presentation from Canyon Fire Department, followed by snow cones!
